Sunday Brunch

Our favorite day of the week is Sunday.  This is for lots of reasons but one of them is Sunday Brunch!  We go to church, Sunday School, and then usually don't have much else planned.  Everyone LOVES breakfast and this is the one day of the week we get to enjoy a slow paced meal together.  Normally it consists of pancakes (with chocolate and butterscotch chips), french toast, or waffles.  Then either omelettes or eggs to order - Dad and Keeley like sunny side up, Jake and I like fried, Kate likes scrambled.  Throw in some sausage or bacon, fruit, juice, and coffee and we're in heaven.

Sunday is also the day Dad is home (unless it's a busy season)!

If you've never tried baking your bacon - I highly recommend it!  It turns out gorgeous and evenly cooked!  Put a wire cooling rack on a cookie sheet and lay your bacon on top.  Bake at 400 degrees for about 15 minutes or until cooked the way you like it.  Plus it doesn't sit in all the grease.  YUMMM!

Full kids are happy kids :)

Then, of course, there is nap time - not always just only for Kate! ;)  There's something about a 4 year old and her blankys and bears!

HAPPY SUNDAY!
